Our team is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, while providing a clean, well-organized, and team-oriented work environment.\nWe are currently seeking a Post Grinding Operator to support our manufacturing operations on second shift.\nPosition Overview\nThe Post Grinding Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining departmental grinding and cleaning equipment to meet production requirements and quality specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment while following established work instructions and quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up and prepare departmental machinery according to Machinery Operating Instruction Manuals to meet job requirements and specifications\nLoad and unload fixturing and packaging, making proper adjustments to ensure optimal equipment operation\nRead and follow production schedules, work orders, and operation sequences\nMonitor machine operations, including part movement, gauges, dials, and machine sounds to identify potential issues\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments\nInterpret drawings, item attributes, and routings\nPerform inspections according to inspection requirements and\nMaintain product specifications using appropriate inspection equipment\nPerform routine operator maintenance as required\nProperly use required tooling and systems\nAccurately complete all job-related documentation and shop floor data collection\nAdhere to all aspects of the Quality Management System and safety\nAssist with training additional employees when requested\nOperate and maintain Cleaning Line(s), including loading and unloading pre- and post-cleaning operations\nPerform material handling tasks, including receiving, stocking, and dispatching materials and spare parts as needed\nMaintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies\nCoordinate product pickup with carriers when requested, following shipping instructions\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervision or management\nQualifications\nRequired:\nExperience operating and setting up industrial manufacturing or grinding equipment\nAbility to read and interpret work instructions, routings, and drawings\nWorking knowledge of inspection methods and measurement equipment\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nPreferred:\nPrevious experience in a grinding or tool manufacturing environment\nFamiliarity with cleaning line operations\nExperience with shop floor data collection systems\nPrior experience in a quality-driven manufacturing environment\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand for extended periods\nAbility to lift and move materials as required\nManual dexterity to handle parts, tooling, and inspection equipment\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive pay based on experience\nHealth, dental, and vision benefits\nPaid time off and holidays\nGender Neutral Paid Parental Leave - 14 weeks at 90% of wage\nRetirement plan options - 5% employer contribution plus a 3% employer match on 6% employee contribution\nOpportunities for skill development and internal advancement\nSupportive, team-oriented work environment\nSeco Tools, a subsidiary of Sandvik, is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
