In this position, you play a key role in shaping architecture within a specific business domain and ensuring that technology investments support strategic goals, operational excellence, and long-term growth. \nAbout the job \nAs a Solution Architect, you design and guide the implementation of technology solutions within a dedicated business domain. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT, you translate strategic direction and business requirements into practical solution designs that align with enterprise architecture principles, technical standards, and business objectives. You report to the Director CIO Office. \nJob responsibilities \nBuild a strong understanding of your assigned business domain and translating business requirements into scalable, reusable technology solutions. \nDefine architecture visions, roadmaps, and high-level solution designs that support both current and future business needs. \nEvaluate applications, technologies, and solution alternatives to ensure the best fit for business requirements. \nProvide architectural guidance to development teams and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. \nCreate and maintain architectural documentation, including blueprints, integration plans, and technology roadmaps. \nSupport delivery teams, ensuring compliance with security, data, and governance requirements while managing risks and technical debt. \nLocation \nThe primary location for this position is Fagersta. However, candidates based in other locations across Sweden may also be considered. \nYour profile \nYou bring a combination of business understanding, architectural expertise, and strong stakeholder management skills. With experience from complex technology environments, you enjoy translating business challenges into practical and sustainable solutions while collaborating across organizational boundaries. \nYour background includes: \nExperience working with architectural frameworks, such as TOGAF. \nKnowledge of cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. \nUnderstanding of architecture domains such as integration, data, network, and security. \nExperience translating complex business requirements into solution designs and architectural blueprints. \nFamiliarity with Agile and DevOps ways of working. \nExperience with domain-driven design, product-centric organizations, enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud certifications, or domain-specific platforms such as ERP, CRM, or data platforms is considered an advantage. \nSuccess in this position comes from combining strong analytical thinking with collaboration and communication. You’re comfortable navigating complex environments, building relationships across functions, and explaining technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
