Your scope covers both strategic development and day-to-day purchasing, including regional and local agreements.\nJob responsibilities\nDevelop category strategies together with Global Category Managers and relevant stakeholders. \nLead sourcing activities, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating agreements. \nManage supplier performance across quality, cost and delivery. \nMaintain accurate purchasing information, contracts, prices and supplier data. \nResolve supplier-related issues in collaboration with production, logistics, customers and finance. \nContribute to supplier audits and continuous improvement of purchasing processes and tools. \nLocation and flexibility\nThe location for this position is Fagersta and we offer a hybrid solution.\nYour profile\nYou understand strategic purchasing and know how to turn business needs into effective sourcing activities and supplier agreements. A structured approach helps you balance commercial objectives, compliance and collaboration across different functions.\nYour background includes\nExperience of strategic purchasing, sourcing or category management. \nKnowledge of supplier negotiations, contracts and performance management. \nAbility to analyze markets, prices, supplier capacity and historical purchasing data. \nExperience of working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. \nUnderstanding of purchasing policies, processes and authorization frameworks. \nCollaboration is central to your work.
