This role is for someone with at least a year of repair experience who wants to build a career in Apple repair. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and refurbishing Apple devices, mainly MacBooks and iPads.\nPay: $18.50 per hour\n\nExperience: 1+ year of repair experience required\n\nLocation: Skokie, IL - on-site in our warehouse\n\nType: Full-time\n\n What you'll do\nYou'll start by shadowing experienced teammates and handling simpler repairs, then take on more as your skills grow. Day to day, you'll learn to:\nTest MacBooks and iPads to find what's wrong, using Apple diagnostics and hands-on checks\n\nReplace common parts like screens, batteries, keyboards, trackpads and charging ports\n\nTake devices apart and put them back together safely, using precision tools and anti-static (ESD) practices\n\nClean, grade and refurbish devices so they're ready for their next owner\n\nDouble-check your work with quality tests before a device moves on\n\nLog each repair and the parts used in our tracking system\n\nKeep parts organized and your workbench clean and safe\n\n Who we're looking for\nRequired\nAt least 1 year of hands-on repair experience with electronics, such as phones, computers, tablets or game consoles\n\nComfortable using precision tools and working with small screws, delicate connectors and adhesives\n\nPatient and detail-oriented, with a careful, methodical approach\n\nEnjoy solving problems and learning new skills\n\nFollow instructions and processes closely\n\nShow up reliably and work well with a small team\n\nCan sit or stand at a workbench for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs\n\nBonus points (not required) \nRepair experience on Apple devices specifically\n\nFamiliarity with Mac computers or iPads as a user\n\nAny warehouse, refurbishment or retail repair experience\n\nWhere you'll work\nYou'll be based in our warehouse, working alongside a small team of repair technicians. With a team this size, you'll get plenty of one-on-one help while you learn, and your progress will be noticed.
