Secretariat leverages our diverse technical expertise, and industry knowledge of a variety of structures and products to provide clients with world-class value to identify solutions that drive performance and safety. \nThis position is available in either our Chicago or New York office.\nRESPONSIBILITIES \nExceptional analytical skills, problem solving, communication skills, and creativity are the foundation for successful professionals at Secretariat. \nAttracting and winning new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and or strategic consulting \nContributing to the growth of Secretariat’s Electrical Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff \nMentoring and driving growth of Electrical Engineering staff \nProviding project management and project budget oversight \n QUALIFICATIONS \nEstablished track record for business development and existing client-base \nRequisite professional degrees: \nPhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science & Engineering \nExcellent verbal and written communication \nExperience with Power electronics, Industrial process control, consumer products, circuit analysis, control system is a plus \nThe ability to travel globally as needed. \nThe ability to work odd hours to adjust to client needs globally \nStrong report writing skills to complement analytics \nAble to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations and develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems \nThe ability to manage and prioritize your time and your team’s time, potentially against a backdrop of competing deadlines \nAt Secretariat, we believe in pay transparency and equity.
