You will work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to define quality standards, identify risks early, and build automated and manual testing practices that scale with the product.\nThis role suits someone who is detail-oriented, technically curious, and passionate about building high-quality software.\nHere are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:\nDevelop and maintain automated tests for web & REST API applications; perform manual testing as needed\n\nCollaborate with developers and product managers to review requirements, identify edge cases, and assess quality risks\n\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines\n\nExecute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing\n\nDocument and track defects, ensuring prompt resolution with the team\n\nContribute to test strategies, plans, and best practices while enhancing coverage and reliability\n\nPromote quality throughout the development lifecycle\n\nAdditional tasks associated with this position may be assigned in response to company initiatives and business needs.\nMore information about this role:\nThis is a full-time position, working in a hybrid model, and reporting to our Romania office at least 3 days a week.\nThis is an individual contributor role, reporting to our Senior Manager, Quality Assurance.\nThe targeted compensation package for this role is between RON 18,000 and 25,000, subject upon internal equity and years of experience. We may make further adjustments through an approval process if the targeted compensation range needs to be modified based on business needs and market trends.\n Education, Experience, and Specialized Skills:\n3+ years in software testing or QA engineering\n\nExperience with test automation frameworks for web apps\n\nSkilled in at least one test automation language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java)\n\nStrong grasp of web technologies, development, and testing principles\n\nTested modern, web-based applications\n\nKnowledge of version control (Git)\n\nWorked in Agile/Scrum environments\n\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities\n\nThe following experience would be considered an asset:\nExperience with various automation frameworks (browser, end-to-end, or API testing)\n\nSkilled in API test automation\n\nFamiliar with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)\n\nExperience in containerized or cloud-based testing environments\n\nBasic understanding of performance, accessibility, and security testing\n\nTested distributed or service-oriented systems\n\n Sectigo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nAt Sectigo, we are committed to providing equal opportunities throughout your career.
