In other words - we create future-proof and effective solutions that help save lives.\nWorking as a System Engineer in Internal Operations\nYou will join one of the teams within Internal Operations that builds and maintains the platforms, tools, and services our development organization depends on every day. The team’s responsibility spans service management platforms, the Atlassian ecosystem, enterprise integrations, and the tooling that ties them together. We treat our platforms as products - always evolving, always in dialogue with the people who use them.\nYou will work across the full range of what the team owns: configuring and improving platforms, developing integrations between enterprise systems, supporting migrations, and collaborating with stakeholders from development teams, IT, and country organizations to understand their needs and deliver solutions that work in practice.\nWe are looking for someone with broad technical curiosity, the flexibility to pick up new tools and domains quickly, and the drive to take ownership across the full breadth of what the team delivers.\nYour main responsibilities will most likely include:\nConfiguring, maintaining, and improving service management platforms - including workflows, automation rules, SLAs, and portals.\nDeveloping integrations that connect platforms with surrounding systems such as CRM, monitoring tools, and development tooling through APIs and automation.\nSupporting migrations \nCollaborating with stakeholders across the organization to understand service needs, adapt configurations, and make rollouts smooth.\nDocumenting configurations, processes, and runbooks so the team and stakeholders can follow along.\nTroubleshooting and resolving technical issues, balancing short-term fixes with long-term platform health.\n At Sectra, we hire for attitude and ability, and train for skill. We also look for good communicators who have the ability to interact with colleagues, partners, and customers in an effective, clear, and constructive way.\nIn addition to these abilities, we also want you to:\nHave a Bachelor's or master's degree within engineering, IT, or similar with a strong academic record.\nHave a technical background - you are comfortable working with code, scripts, APIs, or automation tools.\nHave experience with or a strong interest in service management platforms and ITSM concepts.\nBe someone who thrives in a project environment with several parallel workstreams, where you switch between configuration, integration work, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.\nBe fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.\nWe consider it a great asset if you:\nHave experience with the Atlassian ecosystem - Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, or related tools.\nHave worked with ITSM frameworks or processes such as ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request).\nHave experience building integrations between enterprise systems using REST APIs, middleware, or scripting.\nSpeak more languages than those required above.\nHave interests besides school and work, such as sports, music, board games, computer games, singing, or flying.\nOther information:\nThe goal is for the right candidate to start as soon as possible.\nWe recruit on an ongoing basis.
