Serving as a trusted technical partner, this individual will work directly with clients to assess their security environments, recommend effective cloud security strategies, and implement integrations that strengthen their overall security posture. Working closely with client stakeholders and internal technical teams, the Cloud Security Engineer will identify opportunities to improve security architecture, optimize system integrations, and address potential vulnerabilities. This role will also provide technical analysis and recommendations to support continuous improvement, enhance product capabilities, and develop innovative security solutions that protect clients' digital environments\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nFollow all Secur-Serv requirements, policies, procedures, and management directions\nProvide expert network and computer support, assisting hospital staff with computer-related issues, \nServe as a technical liaison between customers, sales teams, engineering, and technical support to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of cloud security solutions.\nAssess customer environments, business requirements, and security roadmaps to develop and recommend appropriate cloud security strategies and solutions.\nConfigure, deploy, manage, and maintain cloud security platforms, ensuring optimal performance, functionality, and protection.\nLead the optimization, migration, and configuration of existing security policies, rules, and objects into Prisma Cloud.\nConduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure successful security platform migrations and integrations.\nCoordinate and execute production cutovers, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to customer operations.\nProvide technical guidance and recommendations regarding software updates, platform upgrades, and security code enhancements.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to support the development, customization, and implementation of application and threat signatures.\nPartner with the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues and customer support cases.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance security configurations, improve system integrations, and strengthen customers' overall cloud security posture.\nMaintain technical documentation related to configurations, implementations, migrations, and troubleshooting activities.\nTravel as needed to support customer engagements, implementations, and other project-related requirements.\n REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.\nMinimum of three years’ of experience leading or implementing security solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.\nPrevious hands-on experience deploying, configuring, managing, and maintaining Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud (formerly RedLock/Twistlock).\nExperience in a Solutions Architect role, preferably with a background in DevOps engineering and cloud security architecture.\nDemonstrated ability to present technical solutions, recommendations, and security strategies to executive leadership, customers, and technical stakeholders.\nStrong consulting skills with the ability to assess customer requirements, understand business objectives, and recommend effective security solutions.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud infrastructure, architecture, and security controls.\nBeginner-level or higher experience with Python scripting, with a strong preference for experience using Python and Prisma Cloud RQL (Resource Query Language) to develop security queries, automate processes, and support cloud security operations.\nIntermediate to advanced experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including container security and orchestration.\nFamiliarity with automation technologies and CI/CD pipelines, including integrating security practices into DevOps workflows.\nProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and remain effective in high-pressure environments.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to senior leadership, customers, and technical peers.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.\nPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS\nSit Frequently at a desk\nFrequent fine hand and finger movements (keyboard, writing, mouse movement)\nContinual close visual acuity for reading\nHearing and Speaking for communication within and outside of company.\nMay be required to lift/push/pull up to 10 pounds for set up/movement of office equipment,Mental Requirements -
