Our culture emphasizes discipline, minimal distractions, and a results-driven approach to meeting both individual and collective targets.\nA Day in The Life\nThe responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:\nProcess, route, and post invoices in accordance with vendor payment terms and contracts.\nEnsure accurate coding and approval of all Accounts Payable invoices\nPrepare and process AP journal entries\nEnsure Vendor issues are investigated and resolved\nPerform vendor account reconciliations and ensure statements are current\nMaintain effective and timely communication with all internal/external stakeholders\nMonth end and general support to Finance Team\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications\nThe individual in this role will have:\nAt least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role\nCertificate or diploma in accounting would be an asset\nPrevious basic accounting experience, which includes, experience with journal entries, accounts payable and/or accounts receivable\nStrong customer service focus, professional and effective communicator both verbally and in writing\nStrong team player and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal effectively with individuals at all organization level.\nWhat's in it for you\nAt SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
