You actively assist with standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs, and environmental protection, while maintaining regular communication with customers. Given the high level of customer interaction, strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional service are essential.\nThis position is based out of Drayton Valley, AB.\nThe Team\nThe team at our Drayton Valley Facility takes pride in operating safely, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the business. This fast-paced facility offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team where teamwork, communication, and a commitment to excellence drive success.\nWork Environment\nThis position will be a 12-hour shift, 7 on / 7 off with a rotating shift of days and nights.\nA Day in The Life\nResponsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility\nResponsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water & vac trucks\nResponsible for oil treating with the treater, cooler or tank treating\nParticipating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker & centrifuge operations and solids treating\nResponsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement & Crude Oil Quality compliance\nManaging ongoing water injection, filter changing and pump maintenance\nConducting treatment of solids on the waste pad\nConducting boiler operations, testing and steam system operations\nEnsuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to\nSubmitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office\nParticipates in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)\nWaste plant operation (ensuring solids processing is meeting or exceeding landfill criteria and solids testing)\nFollowing water injection SOP’s and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity\nGeneral maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications\nA High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent\nExperience in waste processing, oil treating, and water injection an considered an asset\nTraining in boilers, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loader is considered an asset\nCurrent and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHMIS and TDG\nA strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment\nMust be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure clear communication with the rest of the team\nAbility to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills\nMust demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices\nA valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and have good time management skills\nWhat's in it for you\nAt SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
