The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating loaders and attachments that include fork and bucket.\nThis position is based out of Edmonton Alberta\nThe Team\nThis position must also adhere to our safety program and work as a contributing member of the site team.\nWork Environment\nThis is a full time permanent role and a based in the yard, working Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm, with rotating Saturdays\nA Day in The Life\nOperate equipment while adhering to all safe work practices and procedures\nFollow Secures’ operating standards and procedures\nClean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks\nConduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and ensure equipment is running properly\nSecure special attachments to equipment\nOperate two-way radios and other communication when required\nMinor repairs to equipment. Report any necessary reports to the supervisor\nCommitment to working safely and following safety protocol\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications\nOne or more years experience operating equipment in industries such as civil earth works, pipelines, or Oil & Gas\n2 years equipment operation experience\nShredder experience is an asset\nA minimum of 5,000 hours in Heavy Equipment operations\nGrade 12 or GED\nAbility to Work variable shifts & hours\nWork and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation\nMust be physically fit, heavy labour is required\nWhat's in it for you\nAt SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
