We go beyond expectations - mitigating risks, reducing financial obligations, and maximizing value for our clients.\nJoin SECURE, where we step up to make a meaningful difference in the industries we serve and the world we share.\nYour Opportunity at SECURE\nTo support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and hands on Ticketed Millwright.\nThis position is based out of Edmonton, AB\nThe Team\nReporting to the maintenance supervisor, this role is responsible to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.\nWork Environment\nThe hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm, overtime may be required, including half day Saturday’s if needed.\nA Day in The Life\nAssemble machines/equipment and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures using hand tools/power tools\nConduct preventative maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical machines and equipment\nProvide technical support, adjust settings, confirm proper operation and make recommendations for continuous improvements\nInspect, test, and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues within the facility.\nPerform all work in a manner that meets and follows applicable codes, blueprints, and standards.\nTroubleshoot problems to maximize equipment uptime and minimize breakdowns.\nread and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to determine wiring layouts,\nPosition, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures,\nInstall, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and components, generation sources and related equipment\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications\nJourneyperson Industrial Mechanic Certification\nMinimum of 10 years of Millwright experience\nMust be able to work inside and outside year-round in all weather conditions\nPrevious experience working in the industrial/metal industry is considered a strong asset\nCore Competencies\nAbility to diagnose hydraulic systems\nUnderstanding of automated systems, HMI, PLC's\nKnowledge of conveyors, metal sorting equipment, air compressors, air dryers, etc.\nBasic computer knowledge and ability to complete reports as required\nWhat's in it for you\nAt SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
