This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, develop new skills through cross-training, and grow your career in a collaborative environment that values teamwork, continuous learning, and operational excellence.\nWork Environment\nThis is a full time permanent position\nA Day in The Life\nEnsure all SECURE safety policies and procedures are followed\nBe cognizant of and adhere to any site-specific safety requirements\nPartake in all safety related meetings including: daily tail gates, last minute risk assessment, etc.\nWork well in a team environment\nResponsible for sorting ferrous material, identifying different types of metals\nWilling to be trained on other positions\nCoordinate traffic and direct material to the proper area\nGeneral site housekeeping\nNotify supervisor and or repair shop of any required work to be done\nOther related duties as required\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications\nGeneral labour and or farm experience an asset, but not required\nExperience working with metals would be an asset, but we are willing to train\nBasic comprehension and ability to follow SECURE’s Workplace Health and Safety requirements relevant to the assigned work site, including but not limited to SECURE’s safety and hazard assessment process”\nAbility to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner\nAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving containers and other heavy materials\nStrong work ethic and willingness to persevere through difficult weather conditions\nAbility to manage weather and/or seasonal interruptions in work schedule\nFit-for-Work each day \nWhat's in it for you\nAt SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
