Working closely with experts from various disciplines, you will contribute to challenging projects, develop innovative solutions, and help deliver products that create value for our customers worldwide.\nWhether you are improving existing technologies, driving innovation, or solving complex technical challenges, your contributions will have a direct impact on our success and future growth.\nYou are part of our Software Architecture Team and accountable for the design, development, verification, and lifecycle management of our Lucullus software platform. In this role, you actively contribute to software development, provide technical leadership, and oversee the software development, integration, and verification of our innovative devices. Lucullus is our process information management platform for bioprocess labs: it connects and controls lab devices and bioreactors, acquires and stores process data, and supports experiment planning and analysis.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\nDesign and evolve the architecture of the Lucullus platform (modules, APIs, data model, device-integration layer) and document key decisions in architecture decision records and design specifications.\nImplement key components yourself (approx. 50% of time is hands-on design and coding)\nOwn the non-functional requirements: performance, reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability.\nPrototype and evaluate new technologies before they are adopted in the product.\nCreate, review, and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and design descriptions.\nSupport requirements management, risk management, and compliance activities in accordance with applicable standards and quality requirements.\nCollaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Product Management.\nWHO YOU ARE\nYou enjoy solving complex technical challenges and thrive in an environment where software architecture and development are critical to delivering innovative technologies. You are comfortable providing technical leadership within cross-functional and agile teams. You would rather design and build than coordinate: you enjoy writing code, sketching architecture, and defending technical trade-offs with facts. Leading here means leading by technical example, not by managing people or schedules.\nYOUR PROFILE\nCompleted studies (FH / Uni / ETH) in Engineering, preferably Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.\nAt least 3years of experience in software development.\nStrong expertise in software development with experience in enterprise-grade applications.
