Services include technical analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of Securiport’s software solutions, training, and technical support to the field operations.\nSecuriport LLC is currently seeking an experienced Technical Graphic Designer and Motion Designerwhose primary responsibility is accurate execution, production excellence, and brand-system compliance. This role is ideal for a designer who excels at turning approved concepts, standards, and specifications into precise, scalable, and compliant visual assets across digital, print, signage, and large-format environments.\nThe successful candidate will ensure that all materials meet technical requirements, brand guidelines, and regulatory standards. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.\nEssential Job Functions\nTechnical Design Execution\nProduce drafts design of communication materials including but not limited to brochures, logos, signs, books, web pages, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials; and make revisions based on the feedback received.\nConvert approved layouts, wireframes, and brand templates into final production-ready assets.\nDraft advertising layouts and text for company brochures and related material for review and approval.\nEnsure strict adherence to brand guidelines, typography systems, spacing rules, color codes (RGB, CMYK, Pantone), and accessibility standards.\nProduce pixel-accurate and dimension-accurate designs for print, digital, and physical environments.\nPrepare deliverables to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.\nIllustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.\nPerform retouching and manipulation of images, UI design process, sketches, mockups, presentation, prototypes, design validation, sound, and text into consolidated and seamless multimedia production.\nAbility to create graphics, animations, videos, and other visual elements using client brands/style guidelines.\nManage visual assets, including brand assets, photography, and raw video footage.\nInvestigate postproduction design to ensure brand accuracy is adhered to.\nObtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.\nVideo & Animation Production\nExecute static and animated assets strictly from approved storyboards, scripts, and templates.\nProduce short-form motion graphics, UI animations, and informational videoswithout altering messaging or narrative.\nApply consistent typography, timing, transitions, and branding across all motion outputs.\nCreate and adapt animations for:\nDigital screens and LED displays.\nAirport and border-control solutions.\nSocial and web distribution.\nEducational and informational content.\nEnsure correct frame rates, aspect ratios, resolutions, codecs, and compression for each deployment environment.\nOptimize animations for performance, clarity, and legibility in high-traffic public spaces.\nProduction & File Management\nPrepare files for print, fabrication, and digital deployment (PDF/X, EPS, AI, SVG, PNG, JPG, MP4, etc.).\nManage bleed, trim, resolution, color profiles, die lines, and material constraints.\nCoordinate technical specifications with printers, fabricators, signage vendors, and digital integrators.\nMaintain organized file structures, version control, and asset libraries.\nExport assets in required formats (MP4, MOV, GIF, Lottie/JSON, SVG animation).\nMaintain strict version control across static and motion deliverables.\nCoordinate technical delivery requirements with vendors, IT teams, and integrators.\nSignage, Wayfinding & Environmental Graphics\nDesign and adapt assets for large-format signage, floor decals, wall graphics, digital screens, kiosks, and wayfinding systems.\nApply precise measurements and scale for airport, border, and high-traffic public environments.\nEnsure visibility, legibility, contrast ratios, and durability standards are met.\nCompliance & Standards Alignment\nEnsure all materials comply with internal brand governance, communication protocols, and international standards where applicable.\nExecute updates and revisions quickly based on feedback.\nMaintain consistency across multilingual materials without altering approved messaging.\nEnsure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.\nTemplate & System Development\nBuild and/or maintain existing templates for presentations, signage, social media, reports, and marketing collateral.\nStandardize design systems to reduce errors, rework, and production time.\nSupport scale by enabling non-design teams to use approved templates correctly.\nOther\nAssist with management of social media accounts and remain current on trends and strategies.\nSupport the marketing and communication department.\nRemain current with standard design technologies and trends.\nProofread to ensure high quality and accurate work.\nUnderstand print production and liaise with printers to produce materials; prepare final press-ready files based on supplies specifications to printers and ensure quality production.\nTailor graphic concepts while adhering to company standards and brand compliance.\nOther related duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nDesign & Production Tools\nAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.\nStrong understanding of print production workflows and digital export standards.\nExperience preparing files for large-format print, signage, and fabrication.\nWorking knowledge of Figma or similar tools for layout handoff and versioning.\nTechnical Competencies\nColor management (CMYK, RGB, Pantone, ICC profiles).\nResolution, scaling, bleed, trim, and finishing requirements.\nTypography systems and multilingual layout handling.\nAccessibility basics (contrast, readability, hierarchy).\n4-7+ years in production-focused graphic design.\nExperience working with corporate, government, or aviation preferred.\nProven ability to execute within strict brand and compliance frameworks.\nAble to handle quick turnaround time and multiple projects at the same time.\nDemonstrated reliability in high-volume, deadline-driven production environments.\nWhat This Role Is Not\nNot a concept-driven or campaign-ideation role.\nNot focused on experimental design.\nNot responsible for brand strategy or creative direction.\nThis is an FT Onsite Position located in Reston, Virginia.\nMUST BE U.S. CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.\n#LI-NA1\nSecuriport is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
