We provide Integrated Guarding, Remote Guarding, Mobile Guarding, Onsite Guarding, Investigative Services and Technology Services.\nSecuritas Canada is looking for professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team across a variety of client sites throughout the Hamilton, Oakville, Burlington, Niagara Falls, Brantford and Milton areas.\nThis posting is for multiple vacancies across the Greater Hamilton, Halton and Niagara Areas.\nOur Security Guards can work in a range of environments, including:\nCorporate and Office Buildings\nLogistics and Warehousing\nGovernment Sites\nBank Sites\nOther client locations require professional security services\nWhat You Will Do:\nPay rates range from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on the assignment, location, experience, licensing requirements, and site responsibilities.\nMonitor and patrol the assigned property\nControl access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries\nMonitor CCTV and alarm systems\nMaintain accurate daily activity and incident reports\nRespond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures\nConduct regular patrols and inspections\nEnforce client and site-specific security policies\nProvide professional customer service to employees, visitors, students, contractors, and members of the public\nMaintain a visible security presence\nContact emergency services when required\nPerform other security-related duties as assigned\nWhat We Need from You:\nValid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate\nStrong communication and customer service skills\nProfessional appearance and positive attitude\nAbility to remain calm and professional in challenging situations\nStrong observation and attention to detail\nAbility to complete written reports accurately\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nReliable attendance and punctuality\nPrevious security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a strong customer-service background are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles.\nPriority will be given to candidates with OPEN availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts and their own vehicle with a G2 or G licence.\nOpportunities:\nCorporate Security\nProfessional reception and access-control environments\nEmployee and visitor access management\nCCTV monitoring\nPatrols and security reporting\nWarehousing and Logistics Security\nClient employee, contractor and visitor safety\nAccess control\nGatehouse duties including logging in outbound and inbound traffic.\nSupporting a safe and professional environment.\nGovernment Site Security\nPerimeter and site patrols\nAccess control for workers, contractors, and visitors\nMonitoring equipment and materials\nMonitor inbound and outbound traffic. \nTrespasser deterrence including gatehouse duties.\nOvernight and weekend security coverage\nIncident prevention and reporting\nBank Protection Security\nPerimeter inspections and checks.
