Your Mission
As an R&D Engineer, you contribute to the development of advanced wireless communication solutions in MF and HF that position Securitas Technology as a key player in the global mission-critical communication market.
Your responsibilities
Product Development & Innovation
* Design and develop innovative communication solutions (hardware & software)
* Define specifications, build concepts and simulations
* Ensure compliance with international standards (ITU, IMO, NATO, ICAO, etc.)
Prototyping & Testing
* Develop and validate prototypes
* Perform verification, measurements and qualification testing
* Define and execute test plans (functional, RF, compliance)
Product Lifecycle & Documentation
* Create technical documentation (manuals, training materials, product files)
* Support product training and internal knowledge sharing
* Ensure long-term product support and lifecycle consistency
Business Support
* Collaborate with Sales & Business Development to translate customer needs into technical solutions
* Support product demonstrations and technical proposals
Collaboration
* Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners (contract manufacturers, advisors, international organizations)
* Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecom, or similar)
* Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D / engineering
* Strong knowledge of radio communication and RF technologies
* Experience in hardware/software integration is a plus
* Strong analytical mindset
* Innovative and solution-oriented
* Ability to work autonomously on complex topics
* Team player with strong communication skills
* Long-term vision combined with hands-on execution
*Languages: English and Dutch or French
