Posting will be removed once filled.\nPosition Overview:\nPosition: Site Security Supervisor\nPay Rate: $26.44/hr\nLocation: London, Ontario\nShift timings: Monday to Friday\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide visible leadership, direction, coaching, and day-to-day support to the onsite security team, fostering accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and consistent service delivery.\nManage employee performance through regular observation, feedback, recognition, corrective action, and documented development plans, escalating concerns when appropriate.\nPrepare and maintain staffing schedules, manage shift coverage, approve time-off requests, and respond promptly to absences or operational changes to ensure all posts are properly staffed.\nReview timesheets, attendance records, overtime, and payroll submissions for completeness and accuracy; resolve discrepancies within required deadlines.\nDevelop, review, and update post orders, standard operating procedures, emergency instructions, and site-specific training materials to reflect current risks and operational requirements.\nTrack, validate, and submit monthly and quarterly security metrics, identifying trends, service gaps, and opportunities for improvement.\nServe as the primary liaison between the security team, facility departments, site leadership, contractors, emergency services, and the Security Manager.\nMaintain timely, professional, and appropriate communication with the customer’s Security Manager and the branch office regarding staffing, operational issues, incidents, performance concerns, and required follow-up actions.\nConduct proactive analysis of security operations, incidents, staffing, patrols, access control, and service delivery, recommending practical risk-reduction and efficiency improvements.\nLead the development and implementation of innovative practices, technology-enabled solutions, and operational improvements that strengthen security performance and customer service.\nEnsure team members receive effective onboarding, site training, refresher training, and competency assessments; provide immediate coaching and remediation when required.\nOversee daily security operations, including access control, patrols, incident response, specified investigations, reporting, and escalation in accordance with post orders and client requirements.\nReview incident and shift reports for accuracy, quality, and timely completion, and communicate significant events, risks, and follow-up actions to appropriate stakeholders.\nPromote compliance with company and customer policies, health and safety requirements, regulatory obligations, and client standards while working effectively across diverse teams and cultures.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nValid Ontario Security Guard Licence and valid First Aid and CPR certification.\nMinimum two years of supervisory experience in a security environment.\nDemonstrated knowledge of applicable Ontario legislation, regulations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements affecting property protection and the delivery of security guard services.\nWorking knowledge of security operations, including access control, patrols, alarm and CCTV monitoring, emergency response, incident management, workplace violence prevention, investigations within assigned authority, and protection of people and property.\nDemonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and follow issues through to resolution.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic workforce, reporting, and security management systems.\nValid Ontario Class G driver’s licence.\nSecuritas Canada celebrates diversity, and we welcome and encourage applications from the four designated groups: namely women, aboriginal people, visible minorities and persons with disabilities.
