Our funds combine traditional investment management and fund infrastructure with blockchain-based ownership and transaction capabilities, providing a unique opportunity to help build the operational framework for the next generation of investment products.\nWe are seeking an Associate, Fund Operations to support the day-to-day operations of Securitize Capital's investment funds and help build scalable operational processes as the platform continues to grow.\nWhat You'll Do\nThe Associate will work closely with the Securitize Capital team and a broad group of internal and external partners, including fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, custodians, transfer agents, sub-advisers and other service providers.\nResponsibilities will include:\nFund Operations & Financial Oversight\nReview daily, monthly and quarterly fund financials, NAV calculations and supporting reports prepared by fund administrators.\nReview fund-level activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, investment activity, cash movements, expenses, management fees and expense accruals.\nAssist with cash and liquidity management across the funds.\nHelp identify and resolve NAV, accounting, reconciliation and operational discrepancies.\nFund Accounting, Audit & Tax\nCoordinate with third-party fund administrators on accounting and financial reporting matters.\nSupport annual fund audits, including coordinating information and responding to requests from auditors.\nCoordinate with tax preparers on annual tax filings, investor tax reporting and related information requests.\nAssist with the review of audited financial statements and other periodic fund reporting.\nMaintain organized records and supporting documentation for fund expenses, invoices, accruals and other financial activity.\nService Provider & Internal Coordination\nServe as an operational point of contact for fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, custodians, sub-advisers and other third-party service providers.\nCoordinate across Securitize Capital and affiliated teams, including fund administration and transfer agency functions.\nTrack open operational items and ensure issues are appropriately escalated and resolved.\nTokenized Fund Operations\nDevelop an understanding of how blockchain-based fund interests interact with traditional fund accounting, custody and transfer agency infrastructure.\nSupport operational workflows involving digital assets and stablecoins, including subscription and redemption activity where applicable.\nWhat We're Looking For\nApproximately 2-5 years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, asset management, fund administration, audit or a related financial-services role.\nExperience reviewing private fund financial statements, NAVs, capital activity or fund accounting records.\nStrong understanding of basic investment fund accounting concepts, including NAV, subscriptions and redemptions, management fees, fund expenses, accruals and cash reconciliation.\nStrong attention to detail and an ability to independently investigate discrepancies.\nComfortable working in an environment where processes are still being built and standardized.\nStrong Excel skills and an ability to work effectively with financial and operational data.\nHelpful Experience\nExperience in any of the following would be particularly valuable:\nPrivate investment funds, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds or other alternative investment vehicles.\nFund administration or fund accounting.\nInvestment advisers or registered investment advisers.\nDigital assets, blockchain technology, tokenized securities or stablecoins.\nAlternative investments such as private credit, CLOs, high-yield bonds or private equity.\nPrior digital asset experience is helpful but not required. We are primarily looking for someone with strong fund-operations fundamentals who is interested in learning how traditional investment fund infrastructure can operate using blockchain technology.\nWho Will Succeed in This Role\nThe ideal candidate is someone who enjoys understanding how a fund works from end to end rather than focusing on only one part of the accounting or operational process.\nYou should be comfortable moving between detailed financial review and broader operational problem-solving.
