This is a unique opportunity to combine technical skills with stakeholder engagement, helping engineering teams make better decisions through improved reporting, automation and digital innovation.\nThis role leverages data and technology innovations to support engineering and project delivery. You will be involved in everything from engineering reporting and resource forecasting through to dashboard development, process automation and digital improvement initiatives. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people and finding smarter ways of doing things.\nKey Accountabilities\nDevelop, maintain and improve engineering reporting, dashboards and data solutions across the business.\nSupport engineering resource planning and forecasting activities across multiple regions.\nCreate and enhance Power BI reports and automated workflows to improve business visibility and efficiency.\nPartner with Engineering, Project Controls, Planning and other business functions to improve data quality and reporting outcomes.\nInvestigate and resolve reporting, data and digital system issues.\nSupport project teams with digital tools, workflows and project setup activities.\nIdentify opportunities to automate, streamline and standardise business processes.\nProvide training, guidance and support to users across the organisation.\nContribute to the delivery of Sedgman's digital engineering roadmap and future technology initiatives.\nWhat You Bring\nTertiary qualification in Engineering, Data Analytics, Technology or a related discipline.\nExperience working within engineering, project delivery, project controls, resource planning or a comparable environment.\nStrong capability with Power BI, Power Query and Excel.\nExposure to DAX, SQL, Power Platform or similar technologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.\nA proactive and curious mindset with a genuine interest in learning new technologies and solutions.\nHighly Regarded\nExperience with resource forecasting, project controls or engineering progress reporting.\nKnowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, data modelling or automation workflows.\nExposure to engineering systems, digital workflows or data integration solutions.\nExperience within engineering consulting, mining, resources, infrastructure or construction environments.\nInterest or experience in emerging technologies, automation and AI-enabled solutions.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nFlexible and hybrid working arrangements.\nOpportunity to influence the future direction of Digital Engineering at Sedgman.\nExposure to projects and stakeholders across Australia, Europe and North America.\nA diverse and varied role combining engineering, technology, reporting and innovation.\nSupportive leadership with autonomy and ownership from day one.\nOngoing professional development and career growth opportunities.\nCollaborative and inclusive team culture where your ideas are encouraged and valued.\nHow to Join Our Team\nIf this sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in, please submit your CV by clicking \"Apply\" now.\nPlease note you must have the right to work in Australia to be considered for this opportunity.\nSedgman is an equal opportunity employer.
