Our specialized technical expertise, in PFS, FS and detailed engineering, delivery and our advanced commercial capabilities - enable us to provide complete solutions which are valued by our clients.\nCome join a growing business and a winning team!\nKey Responsibilities\nComplete detailed design from sketches or specification outlines on either mechanical, process, electrical, structural, hydraulics or civil engineering fields under direction of engineers or a supervising design drafter\n\nCreate 3D designs from complex, multidiscipline engineering concepts.\n\nParticipate in the review of designs and advise on technical drafting difficulties or compliance requirements as appropriate.\n\nComply with the Change Management process for engineering design\n\nPrepare drawings of designs relating to plant, equipment, services or other facilities or structures.\n\nParticipate in the development and continuous improvement of the Quality management process and system.\n\nEnsure engineering designs follow the standard Sedgman design workflows, systems and procedures\n\nProvide drafting support to the project teams in line with management direction from them whilst maximising individual and teams utilisation.\n\nFocus on meeting expectations for schedule, quality and client satisfaction\n\nCheck drafting deliverables for accuracy, completeness and adherence to design specifications & intent.\n\nApply attention and diligence to uphold quality standards, and client requirements, to complete tasks efficiently.\n\nAbout You\nAssociate Diploma in CAD / Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent.\n\nMinimum of 5 year’s industry experience in a design / consultancy environment, preferably supporting mining, minerals processing, or heavy industries.\n\nExperience with projects from conceptual design through to detailed engineering.\n\nProficiency in AutoCAD 3D modelling programs, such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Advanced Steel, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Vault and Plant3D\n\nAbility to work autonomously.\n\nPrevious MS Office skills\n\nWhat is in it for you?\nGet to work on significant projects for a global mining industry\n\nSignificant career growth potential\n\nAccess to world leading mentors across disciplines and commodities\n\nShort term incentives (bonus) program\n\n401k matching\n\nHealth and benefits package\n\nThe salary offered to the successful person for this position will consider education, experience, relevant skills and capability, geographic location and market conditions at the time of hire.\nSedgman is part of the CIMIC Group’s mineral processing company and is a leading provider of mineral processing and associated infrastructure solutions to the global resources industry.\nOur Mission is to generate sustainable returns for our shareholders by delivering projects for our clients while providing safe, rewarding and fulfilling careers for our people.
