Working within our HSE team, you will play a key role in supporting operations, projects and corporate functions across Australia and the broader APAC region, partnering with leaders to drive positive safety outcomes and continuously improve HSE performance.\nThis is a diverse and hands-on role offering exposure across operational sites, project delivery teams and corporate stakeholders. You will provide practical HSE guidance, support incident investigations, facilitate risk management activities and contribute to the ongoing development of Sedgman's safety culture and systems.\nKey Accountabilities\nProvide HSE advice, coaching and support to operational and project teams across the business.\n\nConduct audits, inspections and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with legislative and company requirements.\n\nSupport incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action management.\n\nFacilitate risk assessments and critical risk management activities across operational and project environments.\n\nAssist with contractor management, prequalification and assurance processes.\n\nDevelop and deliver HSE training, awareness initiatives and safety communications.\n\nMonitor and report on HSE performance, trends and improvement opportunities.\n\nSupport site teams through regular travel and engagement with frontline personnel and leaders.\n\nContribute to the ongoing enhancement of HSE systems, processes and standards.\n\nWhat You Bring\nCertificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher qualification.\n\nDemonstrated experience in an HSE Advisory role within mining, resources, construction, heavy industry or a related environment.\n\nStrong knowledge of risk management, incident investigation and auditing processes.\n\nExperience supporting operational and project-based teams across multiple stakeholders.\n\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills.\n\nAbility to influence positive safety outcomes through collaboration and engagement.\n\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.\n\nCurrent Australian Driver's Licence.\n\nHighly Regarded\nICAM Lead Investigator qualification.\n\nCertificate IV Training and Assessment.\n\nReturn to Work Coordinator experience.\n\nStandard 11 and G1, G8 and G9 competencies.\n\nExperience within EPC/EPCM, mining or mineral processing environments.\n\nWhat We Can Offer You\nFlexible and hybrid working arrangements.\n\nExposure across operations, projects and corporate teams throughout Australia and APAC.\n\nOpportunity to work alongside experienced HSE leaders within a well-established team.\n\nDiverse portfolio of mining, minerals processing and construction projects.\n\nOngoing professional development and long-term career growth opportunities.\n\nA collaborative focus on continuous improvement, innovation and safety.\n\nA supportive and inclusive team environment.\n\nHow to Join Our Team\nIf this sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in, please submit your CV by clicking \"Apply\" now.\nPlease note you must hold a current Australian Driver's Licence and have the right to work in Australia.\nSedgman is an equal opportunity employer.
