The successful candidate will contribute to regulatory compliance monitoring, data privacy activities, risk management, policy governance, and stakeholder engagement across the business. This role is ideally suited to a compliance professional with insurance or financial services experience who has exposure to privacy regulations and an understanding of the applicable regulatory framework.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of the company's compliance programme.\nMonitor regulatory developments and assess the impact of new laws, regulations, and industry guidance.\nAssist in conducting compliance monitoring reviews and thematic assessments across business functions.\nSupport the management of regulatory breaches, incidents, and compliance remediation activities.\nReview and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls.\nProvide compliance advice and guidance to business stakeholders on regulatory matters.\nAssist with regulatory reporting and interactions with regulators.\nSupport the operation of the company's Solvency II governance framework, including policy governance and control monitoring.\nParticipate in risk assessments and contribute to the identification and mitigation of compliance risks.\nMaintain compliance registers, records, and management information reports.\nSupport audits and assurance reviews undertaken by internal and external stakeholders.\nPrivacy & Data Protection Responsibilities\nSupport the organisation's compliance with GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.\nAssist with data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments.\nSupport the management of data subject access requests and privacy-related incidents.\nWork closely with legal, information security, and operational teams on privacy matters.\nMonitor developments in privacy regulation and data governance requirements.\nSkills & Experience\nEssential3-5 years' experience in, Risk, Privacy, or Regulatory role.\nExperience working within a regulated financial services environment.\nGood knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.\nExposure to Solvency II governance, risk management, or regulatory reporting requirements.\nExperience conducting compliance monitoring reviews and risk assessments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to build effective relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nDesirableExperience within the regulated financial services industry.\nKnowledge of conduct risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.\nProfessional qualification, or working towards one, such as:Licentiate or Associate designation with the Compliance Institute\nInsurance Qualification -
