Projects may involve various specialty practice areas of claims such as engineering, forensic accounting, and fire investigation.\nAssists property experts with projects and participates in meetings.\nTrains on insurance coverages and principles, which may include analysis of loss experience, financial conditions and physical characteristics of risks with a plan to obtain an adjuster's license within 12 months in position.\nUnder the direction of a claims expert, interacts with insureds, documenting claims data, visuals and related evidence.\nSupports experts in the claims inspection process.\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nTravels as required.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation & Licensing\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nExperience\nOne (1) years of customer service, construction or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.\nSkills & Knowledge\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nPC literate, including Microsoft Office products\nOrganizational skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nAbility to work in a team environment\nAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhen applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.\nMental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines\nPhysical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required. Have the ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, reaching/working overhead, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 100 pounds and drive up to 4 hours per day.
