Here, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.\nNewsweek Recognizes Sedgwick as America’s Greatest Workplaces National Top Companies\nCertified as a Great Place to Work®\nFortune Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance\nML ArchitectJob Description\nPRIMARY PURPOSE: To partner with stakeholders to identify, scope, and execute advanced analytics and data science projects; to design data modeling processes, create algorithms, and predictive models; and to share insights that inform and enable business decisions.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nBuilds, prototypes, and deploys machine learning models in production environments.\n\nCollaborates with product, technology, and other stakeholders to identify and scope data science projects.\n\nCommunicates modeling challenges, findings, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nDesigns and implements end-to-end ETL (extract, transform, load) data pipelines integrating data from multiple data sources.\n\nExplores new internal and external data sources and assesses their commercial benefit.\n\nMentors team members and serves as a subject matter expert in cross-functional discussions.\n\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nTravels as required.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation & Licensing\nMaster’s degree or Ph.D. with major in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science, economics, or related quantitative field from an accredited college or university preferred.\nExperience\nTen (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience to include three (3) years of predictive modeling, data science, and analysis experience with solid background in the using data visualization tools and libraries and data exploration, data wrangling, and feature engineering. Experience with natural language processing and healthcare data preferred.\nSkills & Knowledge\nProficiency writing code in Python or R and documenting for reproducibility\n\nStrong knowledge of reviewing other’s models and code\n\nAbility to use data visualization tools and libraries\n\nStrong data exploration, data wrangling and feature engineering skills\n\nKnowledge of application of supervised/unsupervised ML techniques\n\nThorough knowledge of SQL to query relational databases\n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills\n\nPC literate, including Microsoft Office products\n\nAnalytical and interpretive skills\n\nStrong organizational skills\n\nAbility to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports\n\nAbility to work in a team environment\n\nAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhen applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.\nMental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines\nPhysical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required\nAuditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking\nAs required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($175,000 - $220,000).
