This position translates client needs into clear, actionable requirements. The Product Manager will solicit stakeholder input and feedback to inform product decisions and partners closely with the development team to balance functional outcomes with technical feasibility, manage dependencies, and support predictable delivery.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSet product vision & roadmap\nPerforms external and internal discovery to identify client needs, market opportunities, and business priorities, incorporating technical constraints, platform standards, and architectural considerations into product direction.\nCollaborates with Operations, Sales, and Product leadership to ensure strategic alignment, secure sign-off on key business decisions, and balance functional and technical tradeoffs.\nWorks with the Product Director to adjust scope, sequencing, and roadmap decisions, ensuring product functionality aligns with both business outcomes and technical feasibility.\nDefines product outcomes (OKRs), represents the “voice of the client,” and communicates roadmap progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.\nOversee, coordinate & support development work\nEstimates effort required to complete requests and allocates capacity accordingly.\nPartner with Product Management and stakeholders to define business and functional requirements and gather necessary inputs.\nDefines user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritizes backlog to meet sprint goals.\nEnsures product strategy, requirements, and priorities are well understood and effectively communicated to development teams, including through intake processes.\nUnderstands and helps coordinate intra-team and external dependencies as applicable.\nCollects, tracks, and reports KPI data to support Product Group OKRs and monitor performance metrics such as efficiency and quality.\nRepresent the development team in work related to core delivery, non-functional requirements, and technical initiatives (e.g., maintenance, support, and technical debt).\nParticipates in sprint ceremonies and evaluation meetings (e.g., planning, reviews, retrospectives).\nContributes to or author IT and product documentation as needed.\nTactical\nMaintains a holistic understanding of business processes and internal system configurations impacting the product and evaluates technical implications of proposed changes.\nAssesses business process changes and system impacts to ensure features can be implemented effectively and sustainably.\nServes as a primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements, risks, assumptions, and delivery decisions.\nProvides product expertise, consultation, and support for release readiness, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement activities.\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nTravel as required.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation & Licensing\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as needed.\nExperience\nEight (8) years’ experience in product strategy, product management or requirements intake role.\nExperience with agile development is strongly preferred.\nSkills & Knowledge\nknowledge of agile methodologies and tools and experience writing and managing user stories\nCross-functional collaboration, with the ability to build productive relationships with technical and non-technical partners\nbusiness and technology acumen, including understanding customer needs, technical concepts, and business strategy\nEffective communication skills, encompassing clear verbal, written, and presentation communication with diverse stakeholders\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess tradeoffs, and inform decisions\nOrganizational and time management skills, enabling prioritization of work, management of competing demands, and reliable delivery\nLeadership and influence skills, including people management, negotiation\nProfessional execution and accountability, including producing quality written outputs, working effectively in team environments, and meeting or exceeding performance expectations\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhen applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.\nMental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines\nPhysical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required\nAuditory/Visual : Hearing, vision and talking\nThe statements contained in this document are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a colleague assigned to this description.
