To assist with providing feedback and resolution to mitigate future security shortfalls.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nAssists with detection, monitoring, and resolution of security incidents.\nAdministers various IT Security tools and applications.\nAssists IT groups and business units as necessary in troubleshooting compatibility issues between security tools and business or productivity programs.\nAssists management in investigating IT or cyber-security events and suggests resolution.\nProvides feedback and suggestions to improve IT Security processes and procedures.\nWorks closely with project managers to meet and complete project milestones accurately and on time.\n ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nSupports the organization's quality program(s).\nTravels as required.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation & Licensing\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Major in information systems or computer science preferred.\n Experience\nThree (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include transmission control protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP) services or networks experience. Experience with various operating systems, desktop productivity software, and network topologies highly preferred.\n Skills & Knowledge\nBasic knowledge of the security confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) Triad\nBasic knowledge of security information and events management (SIEM) solutions.\nAbility to work with a broad range of security tools and new technologies\nAbility to handle confidential sensitive information with integrity\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills\nPC literate, including Microsoft Office products\nAnalytical and interpretive skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nAbility to work in a team environment\nAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhen applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.\nMental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines\nPhysical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required\nAuditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking\nNOTE: Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.\nThe statements contained in this document are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a colleague assigned to this description.
