If you are collaborative, innovative, and passionate about making an impact while living Sedgwick's values of empathy, accountability, collaboration, growth, and inclusion, we want to hear from you.\nWORK LOCATION(S)\nHybrid 1 day per week in office preferred\nMay be open to remote setting for select locations\nPreferred candidate location in central, mountain, or pacific time zones\nPRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Oversees staffing activities within a designated region and partners with Operational management to implement timely, cost-effective initiatives aligned with regional and corporate objectives.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nIdentifies and cultivates sources for hiring experienced and entry level personnel through:Networking and Colleague Referrals,\nDevelopment and utilization of Internet Mining technology and capabilities,\nDevelopment and maintenance of a competitor candidate information database,\nDevelopment and initiation of a candidate relationship “pipeline management” strategy,\nUtilization of current and future staffing technology.\n\nManages Recruiting budget for region through cost-effective advertisement and third-party recruiters.\nDevelops preferred supplier list of third-party recruiters; works with the National Director of staffing to negotiate discounted contract rates for staffing needs.\nScreens, interviews, and tests job applicants as required; maintains applicant database utilizing electronic recruiting software.\nProvides key staffing metrics for regional hiring; tracks regional colleague retention; and consults with regional management regarding issues affecting turnover.\nTrains and mentors hiring managers as well as Colleague Resource Generalists in the use of the electronic recruiting software; builds skill level of regional users by providing training on system updates and new user training.\nPromotes and assists Colleague Resources Managers in training hiring managers in the use of Behavioral Interviewing Techniques, as well as other candidate assessment tools and processes.\nSupports and provides training for the Colleague Resources Generalists in staffing techniques.\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nTravels as required.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation & Licensing: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.\nExperience: Four (4) years of staffing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include three (3) years as a direct recruiter in a high volume, difficult-to-source industry. Insurance industry recruiting experience is preferred. Experience with recruiting software is preferred.\nSkills & Knowledge\nKnowledge of employment laws and practices\nWorking knowledge of e-recruiting concepts and systems\nExcellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills\nPC literate, including Microsoft Office products\nStrong organizational skills\nExcellent negotiation skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently\nAbility to work in a team environment\nAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhen applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.\nMental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines\nPhysical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required\nAuditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking\nAs required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings.
