This role will shape how Gen AI and agentic AI technologies are integrated into Seequent's products and operated at scale, while ensuring strict data privacy, security, and reliability. \nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nDesign and develop Gen AI platform capabilities, with a strong focus on agentic AI applications and supporting infrastructure. \nBuild and evolve shared tools, frameworks, and services that enable AI agents to operate reliably within the Evo platform. \nCollaborate with global engineering, operations, product, and data science teams to deliver shared AI capabilities. \nConvert prototypes into secure, scalable, production-ready product capabilities. \nDeploy, monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve Gen AI applications and platform components in production. \nDesign and implement evaluation frameworks to improve the quality, reliability, and performance of Gen AI systems. \nEstablish reusable tooling, patterns, and best practices for rapid, sustainable Gen AI development. \nProtect customer data and ensure it is used with explicit consent. \nAct as a subject-matter expert in AI system design and technical decision-making, contributing to the team's technical direction as it grows. \nTo be successful in this role, you should have:\nA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. \n5+ years of experience in software engineering or related technical roles. \n3+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating Gen AI/LLM-based products or platform capabilities in production. \nStrong commercial experience with Python and a major cloud provider, with Google Cloud preferred. \nStrong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, API development, testing, observability, and production operations. \nExperience designing agentic AI systems, tool-using agents, or multi-step AI applications, including production orchestration, execution, and reliability. \nExperience with Gen AI evaluation frameworks or tooling such as LangSmith, MLflow, Langfuse, or similar solutions.\nFamiliarity with MCP, A2A, LangGraph, Deep Agents, RAG, semantic search, vector databases, or similar agentic and AI platform technologies. \nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across globally distributed, cross-functional teams and turn prototypes into reliable, maintainable products. \nAdditional Information \nThis is a hybrid position based in Vancouver, with a minimum of two days per week working from the Vancouver office.\nPosting Close Date: 10/28/2026\n#LI-KV2\nOur Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion\nAt Seequent, we champion the uniqueness of each individual.
