The role works with product designers, domain experts, and back-end developers to create intuitive, performant React interfaces and interactive 3D visualizations for complex geoscience data.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nDesign and architect complex frontend applications, components, and modules that are performant, reliable, scalable, and maintainable. \nBuild intuitive and visually compelling customer interfaces in React for Driver, Seequent’s cloud-based geoscience auto-modelling application. \nIntegrate with Seequent’s 3D visualization library to present complex geoscience data in an interactive, responsive, and scalable way. \nEvaluate design alternatives and trade-offs, communicate design views, and address functional and non-functional requirements, including security. \nDesign, code, test, document, integrate, and refactor complex software while promoting agreed development standards, methods, and tools. \nLead design and code reviews, mentor junior developers, and help strengthen technical capability across the team. \nCoordinate release activities and help ensure releases meet quality, security, compliance, and business requirements. \nDefine and deliver small projects or sub-projects, collaborating across disciplines and applying research insights and emerging technologies. \nTo be successful in this role, you should have:\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification. \n7+ years of relevant software development experience, primarily focused on frontend web development. \nExtensive experience building frontend applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and React. \nExperience developing, operating, and maintaining customer-facing web applications in production, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization. \nExperience with Three.js or another web-based 3D rendering library. \nThe ability to work autonomously, navigate complex or ambiguous requirements, and deliver to time and quality expectations. \nThe ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate across functions, communicate complex ideas, and apply creative problem-solving approaches. \nExperience with web-based data science pipelines, Python and FastAPI or similar frameworks, CI/CD and DevOps practices, or micro-frontend migrations is an asset. \nAdditional Information \nWork Mode= Hybrid\nPosting Close Date: 10/15/2026\n#LI-KV2\nOur Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion\nAt Seequent, we champion the uniqueness of each individual.
