Working under the guidance of senior colleagues and following established team processes, patterns, and tools, this role supports quality and efficiency throughout the software development life cycle.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nContribute to the design, development, and release of desktop or web applications across front-end and back-end development.\nCollaborate with the team to develop creative solutions to a variety of problems.\nFix bugs and help design and implement new features.\nFollow established team processes, patterns, standard practices, and tools to deliver quality technical work.\nLearn from experienced developers, testers and domain specialists.\nTest code using the appropriate approach, including unit, system, automated UI, and exploratory manual testing.\nContribute based on your team, background, interests, and the problems being solved.\nTo be successful in this role, you should:\nBe currently in the second or third year of a BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar degree that includes software development courses.\nHave hands-on programming experience through class projects; coding experience outside of class is a bonus.\nCommunicate confidently and clearly, both orally and in writing.\nHave excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.\nBe able to manage your workload effectively, prioritize multiple tasks, and work efficiently alongside team members.\nApply a balanced and informed approach to problem-solving, with tenacity, persistence, and focus.\nAdapt effectively in a quickly growing, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment.\nAdditional Informatio n\nWork from the local office (5 days per week)\nOur Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion\nAt Seequent, we champion the uniqueness of each individual.
