You'll lead both evaluative and generative research, with a focus on usability testing and in-depth interviews, and turn what real people do and say into insights that guide UX strategy and design decisions. You're quick to pick up patterns, patient enough to identify long-term trends, and you own research studies end-to-end, from setup to readout. For the right person, there's strong potential for this role to evolve into a part-time or full-time position. Until then, we are looking for about 15-20 hours a week.\nRole Highlights\nPlan and run the research\nPartner with the Sr. UX Lead and Sr. UX Strategist on Seer's Creative Services team to execute research studies for cross-industry clients across B2B and B2C\n\nLead evaluative research, including moderated and unmoderated usability studies, to assess the usability and effectiveness of user interfaces and identify areas for improvement\n\nConduct generative research, including in-depth interviews and early-stage moderated research, to identify user needs and opportunities for product growth and innovation\n\nCoordinate the logistics\nManage research coordination end-to-end, including study setup, screener development, and participant recruiting\n\nReview project plans and briefs, flagging any dependencies or concerns early\n\nSynthesize and share what you learn\nCode and synthesize findings into insights readouts or slide deck deliverables with relevant research clips for Creative Services team review\n\nCommunicate research plans to Creative Services team stakeholders and maintain communication throughout the research process\n\nPrepare, execute, and deliver all studies on time\n\nWork smarter with AI\nFollow Seer's AI Policy and apply generative AI tools to research workflows such as screener drafting, transcript analysis, and synthesis, validating every output before it reaches a client\n\nEssential Skills\nYou have deep, hands-on experience running evaluative research, including moderated and unmoderated usability testing\nYou have experience planning and conducting in-depth interviews and other generative research methods\nYou have experience managing research logistics, including study setup, screener development, and participant recruitment\nYou have a working understanding of web and mobile technologies and experience with remote research tools such as UserInterviews, PlaybookUX, UXtweak, and Outset.ai\nYou are a strong analytical problem solver who can code qualitative data and translate findings into clear, actionable, data-driven recommendations\nYou are detail oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects across different clients at the same time\nYou are comfortable working independently within a defined scope and part-time schedule\nYou feel strongly that research quality depends on
