We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team, specialising in engineering staffing solutions across sectors such as manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, and technology.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead New Business Development Initiatives: Identify, develop, and close engineering service deals on a new business basis within the Energy sector including both new logo's (80%) and expanding existing client relationships (20%) to further build out Segula’s footprint in the UK.
Strategic Sales: Own the sales cycle from lead generation (in conjunction with marketing) to contract negotiation and closing up to & including the C-Suite. You'll create and execute effective strategies to target and engage high-potential clients across Automotive.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organisations. Understand client needs, business challenges, and provide tailored engineering staffing solutions to address those needs.
Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging engineering technologies. Use this insight to guide sales efforts and identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the other European teams to ensure proposals, contracts, and project execution are aligned with client needs.
Revenue Growth and Targets: Achieve and exceed defined sales targets and KPIs. Continuously monitor and improve the sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth.
Proposal Development and Presentation: Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and demonstrations, effectively communicating the value of their solutions to prospects.
Networking and Industry Presence: Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences to build your professional network and promote the company's services. Represent the business as a thought leader within the Engineering Services space.
