About the Role
We are seeking an Expediting Coordinator / Field Engineer to oversee production flow, supply chain execution, and supplier quality performance. In this role, you will be on the front lines of manufacturing operations-monitoring shop floor progress, conducting detailed defect analyses, enforcing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) with suppliers, and ensuring high-precision, defect-free parts are delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Workflow Management: Track and manage production flow on the shop floor to ensure lead times, load capacity, and schedule targets are met.
Supplier Quality & Defect Resolution: Perform rigorous quality analyses to guarantee zero-defect exports; partner directly with suppliers to investigate quality issues and implement root cause corrections.
Process & Material Verification: Oversee technical manufacturing operations involving complex machining, castings, forgings, non-destructive testing, and surface treatments.
Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to streamline supply processes, eliminate waste, and prevent recurring defects.
Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a key liaison across multiple organizational levels-from shop floor technicians to senior leadership and external vendors-to resolve bottlenecks and drive project milestones.
