As a business analyst, you will serve as a dedicated resource to the alternative investment fund services department to assist with internal and external client solutions/product based support.\nWhat you will do:\nAs a member of the Data Operations team, you will learn about the data sources and applications that are critical to IMS clients.\n\nYou’ll be documenting data workflows where and when necessary.\n\nYou will be responsible for developing an understanding of our data pipelines and the data model that support our internal data warehouse.\n\nYou will be expected to have hands on access and be able to query and analyze data.\n\nYou will be expected to maintain a general understanding of our various businesses, client businesses and financial services generally.\n\nYou will gain responsibility for data governance processes that ensure our clients data accurate and complete.\n\nAssist in creating and maintaining data quality scorecards, dashboards and reporting.\n\nSupport the rollout and use of data governance tools, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.\n\nWhat we need from you:\nBA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience\n\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst role is preferred\n\nIntermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and SQL.\n\nPrevious experience utilizing cloud-based tools is preferred.\n\nThe self-motivation, organization and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.\n\nWhat we would like from you:\nA drive to broaden one’s knowledge of the financial services industry by learning new concepts and systems and taking the initiative to apply it to daily work assignments.\n\nAttention-to-detail to ensure that all deliverables consistently meet the highest standard of quality and accuracy\n\nCollaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
