An open, collaborative and detail oriented environment underpins this business objective.\nPosition Description:\nThe Investment Operations Assistant Manager will be responsible for the oversight of an Investment Operations team. The Investment Operations team centralizes some of the primary valuation functions across the fund accounting department including pricing, corporate actions, and dividend processing. Key responsibilities will include: \nWhat you’ll do:\nDaily, weekly and monthly sign-off on the output in agreement with SAS 70 procedures\n\nTrade input through automated trading system\n\nMonitoring day to day work involving securities, including receipts of dividends, pricing, and corporate actions\n\nFacilitate in the design and implementation of core efficiencies\n\nCreate and implement operational standards and procedures across the team\n\nAssist with the professional development of staff and supervisors\n\nTrain new employees\n\nStay abreast of current industry developments\n\nMaintain a good working relationship with clients, transfer agents, custodians and internal relationship managers\n\nCoordinate human resources functions, including hiring and periodic employee performance appraisals\n\nWrite and discuss employees’ performance appraisals\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\nB.S./B.A. in Accounting or related field\n\nMinimum of 5 years of mutual fund accounting experience\n\nMinimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience\n\nKnowledge of portfolio accounting systems\n\nKnowledge of database programming (Access, SQL and VBA) a plus\n\nExperience of Project Management\n\nExperience of Vendor Management\n\nAttributes we value:\nStrong written and oral communication skills\n\nStrong organizational skills\n\nStrong analytical skills\n\nTeam player\n\nDetail oriented\n\nHave a Pan-European / Global mindset\n\nIndividual who takes initiative & ownership of assigned responsibilities\n\nBenefits you can expect:\nHealthcare for yourself, your spouse and any dependents up to the age of 18 years.
