This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, in addition to internally in the Fund Accounting department and more broadly across the organisation. Candidates must have an advanced level of understanding of Alternative fund structures and related investment types. The candidate will ultimately be responsible for the day-to-day running of their team and the management of a portfolio of clients.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nServe as primary senior point of contact for clients on accounting matters.\n\nResponsible for ensuring delivery of timely and accurate NAVs.\n\nEnsure client service excellence and query resolution on a timely basis.\n\nOwn root cause analysis for issues and ensure remediation is fit-for-purpose.\n\nParticipate in and/or lead department initiatives & group projects as appropriate, in particular those related to operating model improvements and operational efficiencies.\n\nEnsure all procedures and controls are adhered to.\n\nManage resource planning of the team including partnering with other teams.\n\nTrain, coach and mentor new employees; develop and motivate staff within their team.\n\nBuild strong relationships with stakeholders, third parties and other functional groups across SEI.\n\nRepresent SEI and present Administrator’s report at Fund Board Meetings as required.\n\nReview Fund documents in advance of new fund launches; identify and highlight potential operational issues and risks.\n\nProvide ongoing subject matter expertise to support our new business efforts.\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\nAt least 10 years’ experience in Alternative funds, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. Some experience in private markets is preferable.\n\nExperience in working on a Fund Accounting system, preferably Investran and/or Geneva.\n\nHave a strong knowledge of Alternative fund structures, various Fund domiciles, regulatory requirements and performance calculations.\n\nDemonstrable experience of Fund/fee documentation review and interpretation.\n\nExperience coaching/mentoring.\n\nStrong data management skills.\n\nACCA qualified preferable but not essential.\n\nA curious mindset and ability to execute change.\n\nAttributes we value:\nStrong oral, written communication and presentation skills.\n\nStrong organisational and collaboration skills.\n\nFluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential.\n\nEnergetic, accountable and driven.\n\nPositive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.\n\nTeam player.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and client service skills.\n\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time to maximize efficiency and to meet deadlines.\n\nAdaptable.\n\nBenefits you can expect:\nHealthcare for yourself, your spouse and any dependents up to the age of 18 years.
