The Privacy Analyst will have the opportunity to build privacy knowledge and develop practical skills on the job while gaining exposure to international privacy law, enterprise data governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and emerging artificial intelligence governance requirements within a supportive, business-aligned privacy program.\n\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport Privacy Governance and Compliance\nHelp implement and support SEI’s data privacy program across international business units.\nHelp communicate, promote, and enforce controls related to data access, classification, retention, and minimization.\nBuild relationships with business stakeholders to understand business operations and practical implications of privacy requirements.\nReview how personal, confidential, and proprietary information is acquired, used, stored, and shared in connection with business operations, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.\nAssist with assessing data processing activities, identifying privacy compliance obligations, and providing practical guidance to business and technology stakeholders.\nDevelop and apply knowledge of U.S. privacy and financial services regulatory frameworks, including CCPA, CPRA, GLBA, and SEC Regulation S-P.\nSupport compliance efforts under international privacy frameworks, including but not limited to the GDPR and PIPEDA.\nRemain current on developments in privacy, data protection, and related regulatory requirements.\nSupport Privacy Assessments and Documentation\nWork with business stakeholders to draft and maintain Records of Processing Activities.\nTriage and draft Data Protection Impact Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessments, and vendor assessments for review by Chief Privacy Officer.\nHelp develop and track remediation recommendations arising from privacy assessments, business reviews, and governance activities.\nTriage privacy and data governance related requests from international stakeholders throughout the business.\nPartner Across the Enterprise\nCollaborate with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Third-Party Vendor Management, Technology, Operations, and business unit stakeholders to understand the practical implications of the privacy program.\nSupport the Chief Privacy Officer in discussions with subject matter experts regarding privacy compliance objectives and program enhancements.\nFacilitate working sessions and group discussions focused on privacy governance, data inventories, data storage locations, and business process improvements.\nHelp business units and technical teams incorporate privacy controls and procedures into their processes while maintaining clear business ownership for remediation activities and outcomes.\nBuild productive relationships that support enterprise-wide adoption of SEI's privacy and data governance practices.\nSupport Strategic Program Development\nTake ownership of assigned privacy initiatives and coordinate designated workstreams.\nExercise sound judgment in prioritizing tasks and making recommendations aligned with SEI's privacy strategy.\nTriage and escalate issues as appropriate.\nPrepare practical recommendations to improve privacy compliance, data governance, and operational effectiveness.\nContribute to continuous improvement of SEI's privacy program through thoughtful analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. \nWhat We Need From You:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to absorb and digest complex data processing activities and business relationships.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nAbility to project manage while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.\nHigh degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nWhat We Would Like From You:\nExperience supporting privacy, security, data governance, compliance, risk management, information governance, information security, regulatory, or related programs or initiatives.\nExperience supporting or facilitating meetings, cross-functional workshops, or similar activities involving collaboration and coordination of stakeholders with different backgrounds.\nExperience working in financial services, investment management, fintech, or another regulated industry.\nExperience producing standardized process maps, including current-state and future-state process documentation.\nKnowledge of privacy and data protection laws
