The team’s focus is on resource collaboration, identifying and taking advantage of synergies across the group with regard to approach and project templates used, reducing the complexity of internal and client communications, while ensuring a continuous focus on delivering on time and on budget. \nPosition Responsibilities \nPrimary responsibilities for an Project Manager 1 are to work closely with Operations, Solutions and Management teams to ensure that scope is well defined, ensure that milestones and project resources are well tracked, and projects are delivered on time. The project manager will also interface directly with clients to document scope, manage expectations through clear communications, understand and resolve issues and lead project workstreams.\nThe position requires an ability to work in a very fast-paced environment while meeting internal and client deadlines. Excellent communication and computer skills are critical. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of business analysis and/or project management experience in the investment management industry. \nPosition Requirements \nBA / BS in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics or 4-6 year equivalent experience preferred\n2-4 years of business analysis and/or project management experience\nKnowledge of financial, investment industry is desirable\nExcellent verbal and written skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills/team player\nAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously\nAbility to work under pressure to meet project deadlines\nExcellent organizational and advanced problem solving skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project is preferred\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
