The SEI Group’s operations in Ireland are carried out through three entities based in Dublin that conduct the Group’s business of managing proprietary UCITS and AIF funds, as well as providing administration and depositary services to funds established by third party investment managers.\nPosition Description:\nThe Supervisor, Centralised Operations will be responsible for supporting team management run the daily operations of the Fund Accounting Payment team. The Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the team with the daily functions in addition to being responsible for the development and growth of the staff. The individual will be responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with banking providers, clients as well as internal relationship with Fund Accounting teams and other departments within SEI. The individual will be responsible for ensuring premier client service standards are achieved within specified deadlines and according to best practice operations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nServe as main operational contact for a range of banking providers utilised by a range of clients;\n\nTo serve as the main operational contact internally for all Fund accounting teams and for clients where necessary;\n\nTo fully support the Manager in all aspects of the day to day management of the team;\n\nEnsure all established processing procedures and controls are completed accurately and in a timely manner;\n\nAssist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures;\n\nReview and approve payments prepared by the team, ensuring adequate supporting documentation and controls are followed;\n\nGain a comprehensive understanding of all banking provider systems which are utilised across the client base.\n\nError and query resolution on a timely basis (with documentation);\n\nMeet daily banking provider deadlines;\n\nAbility to cover the input and review of all payments using variety of systems when required;\n\nEnforce adherence to service standards and specified deadlines;\n\nSupervise, train, coach and mentor colleagues/new staff on systems, processing, procedures and job responsibilities;\n\nDevelop and motivate staff within the team.\n\nProvide feedback to the Manager regarding employees’ ongoing performance / development / performance appraisals;\n\nEvaluate, provide initial versions of direct report performance appraisals;\n\nWork with Manager to ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures;\n\nIdea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service model;\n\nMaintain a good working relationship with external banking providers; clients as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units within SEI;\n\nWork on Projects / Adhoc tasks as required.\n\nChampion HR policies and ensure all are applied and maintained\n\nCarry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Well-being for all employees for whom you have responsibility\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\n3+ years financial services background with experience in payments;\n\nExperience in supervisory and/or coaching / mentoring;\n\nKnowledge of various banking systems a plus.\n\nFluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential;\n\nStrong administrative skills;\n\nP.C. proficient;\n\nThird Level Degree in Finance or related field.\n\nAttributes we value:\nStrong oral and written communication skills\n\nIndividual who takes initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities\n\nPositive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent problem solving skills\n\nDetail-oriented\n\nTeam player\n\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills\n\nStrong organizational skills\n\nAbility to work to tight deadlines\n\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time to maximize efficiency\n\nFlexible / Adaptable\n\nBenefits you can expect:\nHealthcare for yourself, your spouse and any dependents up to the age of 18 years.
