The SEI Group’s operations in Ireland are carried out through three entities based in Dublin that conduct the Group’s business of managing proprietary UCITS and AIF funds, as well as providing administration and depositary services to funds established by third party investment managers.\nPosition Description:\nThe Supervisor, Fund Accounting will be a core part of a team in a high growth area of SEI. This individual will be responsible maintaining and reviewing the accounting books and records of the Funds in the team, including the calculation of the Net Asset Value, preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting in addition to forging strong internal relationships within their team and client.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEnsure that the review of the Fund’s NAV is accurate and delivered on a timely basis\n\nResponsible for the review of expenses schedules, income calculations, capital activity calculations and fund fee calculations\n\nEnsure the established controls are maintained and followed during the Nav production cycle.\n\nParticipate and lead in the preparation and readiness for new Fund launches within your team\n\nServe as initial point of contact for clients on fund accounting matters pertaining to Nav production\n\nBuild a strong relationship within your team and with your client through a conscientious approach to query management and problem resolution\n\nBuild a strong relationship with all SEI teams and third-party stakeholders in the Nav Production cycle\n\nBuild a strong product knowledge through exposure to complex Fund structures and financial instruments\n\nSupervise, train, coach and mentor analysts on core tasks, systems processing/reporting and procedures\n\nParticipate in department initiatives and group projects as appropriate.\n\nProvide input and feedback regarding employees’ ongoing performance / development / performance appraisals\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\n4 years + experience in Fund operations with experience in Alternative Funds. Some experience in private markets is preferable.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team, build positive working relationships across the board, take responsibility for assigned work and helping your peers and your manager.\n\nACCA qualified preferable but not essential\n\nEffective and confident communication, both written and oral.\n\nExperience with analysis of the Trial Balance, general ledger entries, and at a minimum, basic management and performance fee calculations.\n\nExperience in working on funds with closed ended structures,\n\nExperience in reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements and OM’s and fee agreements\n\nThird Level qualification in Finance or Business (desirable)\n\nAttributes we value:\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills and attention to detail\n\nStrong Organisational and administrative skills\n\nEnergy, accountability and drive\n\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\n\nFluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential.\n\nTeam player with positive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.\n\nBenefits you can expect:\nHealthcare for yourself, your spouse and any dependents up to the age of 18 years.
