The SEI Group’s operations in Ireland are carried out through three entities based in Dublin that conduct the Group’s business of managing proprietary UCITS and AIF funds, as well as providing administration and depositary services to funds established by third party investment managers.\nPosition Description:\nThe Anti Money Laundering (“AML”) team supports business units and compliance professionals across the company and is responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing a framework that ensures that the division operates to the highest standards of regulatory compliance and governance.\nWhat you’ll do:\nReview of documentation linked to new account opening and account maintenance specific to established AML requirements; \nQuality checking physical and soft copy investor files; \nPerform research if needed to understand investor type, company structures, etc.\nInvestigate and solve potential issues;\nReview, approve and provide sign off on the status of AML for investor accounts;\nTrain, coach and mentor new employees, develop and motivate staff;\nProvide input and feedback to Manager regarding employees’ ongoing performance / development / performance appraisals;\nWork with Manager to ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures;\nMaintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units within SEI;\nPerform quality control checks and approval on client correspondence;\nShare AML expertise with clients and colleagues, and act as a reference point for complex queries;\nCoordinate with GFSL Anti-Money Laundering Officer to ensure its satisfaction with regulatory obligations;\nSign off on client reporting of outstanding AML documentation and ensure the accurate and timely delivery to clients;\nIdentification and escalation of high risk items to AML Manager within required deadlines where necessary;\nReview audit samples and liaise with auditors and Risk Management;\nAwareness of broader departmental deliverables (e.g. Investor Services) and ensuring that team prioritise deliverables accordingly; \nDevelopment and implementation of quarterly plans to ensure that team goals and objectives are met; \nAdhoc tasks / Project work as required;\nCarry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Wellbeing for all employees for whom you have responsibility.0\nWhat you bring to the table:\nApprox 4 years’ AML experience, preferably with Alternatives/ Hedge Fund experience;\n2+ years overseeing more junior staff, allocating work and coaching/mentoring;\nExperience of compliance and regulation within the Financial Services Industry in Europe;\nVery strong risk awareness (preferably EU legislation driving AML regulations);\nIn-depth knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering requirements;\nProject management experience preferable;\nFluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential;\nFluency in foreign language an advantage (both written and verbal); \nThird level qualification, preferably in Finance, Business or Law;\nP.C. proficient, particularly Excel and Word;\nAttributes we value:\nSelf-starter with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines;\nStrong organizational and administrative skills;\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time to maximize efficiency and to meet strict deadlines;\nIndividual who takes initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities;\nPositive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent problem solving skills;\nStrong oral and written communication skills;\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills;\nDetail-oriented;\nTeam player;\nFlexible/Adaptable;\nBenefits you can expect:\nHealthcare for yourself, your spouse and any dependents up to the age of 18 years.
