Your key responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following;CI/CD Development: Architect, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI, or ArgoCD to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.\nCloud Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Digital Ocean) with a focus on scalability, cost optimization, high availability, and security best practices.\nContainerization & Orchestration: Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), including advanced concepts such as Helm chart deployments, Kustomize templates, and cluster auto-scaling.\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation, ensuring repeatable and version-controlled infrastructure provisioning.\nMonitoring & Observability: Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk to ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance.\nSecurity & Compliance: Enforce DevSecOps best practices by integrating security into the development lifecycle, managing secrets with tools like Vault, SOPS, and AWS KMS, and implementing IAM, SSL/TLS, and firewall policies.\nDisaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime in case of outages or incidents.\nCollaboration & Enablement: Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to optimize software delivery pipelines, reduce time-to-market, and enforce a culture of automation and reliability.\nSystem Administration & Networking: Manage Linux-based systems, networks, and services, including DNS, load balancing, VPNs, VPCs, and firewall configurations to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).\nProven experience (3-5+ years) as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.\nAdvanced proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in provisioning, scaling, and optimizing resources.\nStrong expertise in containerization and orchestration, including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Kustomize.\nHands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI, or ArgoCD.\nProficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.\nDeep understanding of monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic).\nStrong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.\nSolid background in Linux system administration, networking (DNS, VPCs, VPNs, firewalls), and load balancing.\nExperience managing databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) in cloud environments.\nStrong understanding of security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.\nProven ability to design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems in production environments.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams. ⸻ Preferred\nCertifications:\nAWS Certified DevOps Engineer -
