You will lead multi-disciplinary teams of consultants and technical experts, manage client relationships and other development partners, and make sure every deliverable meets acceptable standards and contract terms.Requirements Project delivery and planning\nLead end-to-end delivery of assigned projects against the terms of reference, contract, work plan and budget.\nDevelop detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans and risk registers, and update them as conditions change.\nTrack milestones, deliverables and expenditure; flag risks, delays and scope changes early and propose solutions.\nRun project start-up, including inception reports, kick-off meetings and mobilisation of teams. Client and stakeholder management\nServe as the main day-to-day contact for task teams, development agencies, government counterparts and other stakeholders.\nPrepare and present progress reports, briefings and deliverables that meet donor quality and formatting standards.\nCoordinate with beneficiaries, implementing partners and local authorities, including during field missions. Team and technical leadership\nLead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams of staff, sector specialists and short-term consultants across several sectors.\nAssign tasks, set quality standards and review technical outputs before submission to the client.\nCoordinate subcontractors and joint-venture partners, and manage their performance and deliverables. Financial and contract management\nManage project budgets, forecasts, invoicing and cost control in line with contract terms and donor rules.\nEnsure compliance with World Bank procurement, fiduciary, safeguards and reporting requirements.\nManage contract variations, amendments and close-out documentation. Quality, monitoring and learning\nApply monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track results and report on outcomes, not only outputs.\nMaintain quality assurance processes and document lessons learned for use across Seismic projects. Business development support\nContribute to expressions of interest, technical and financial proposals, and bid strategy for new development-sector opportunities.\nSupport client relationship growth and help build Seismic's reputation for delivery. Qualifications and\nExperience Required\nBachelor's degree in project management, development studies, public policy, economics, engineering, social sciences or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.\n[5-10] years of project management experience, including at least [4] years leading donor-funded projects.\nDemonstrated experience delivering projects for the World Bank, or comparable agencies such as the AfDB, UN agencies, FCDO, USAID or the EU.\nStrong knowledge of World Bank procedures, including procurement, safeguards, fiduciary and reporting requirements.\nProven record of managing budgets, schedules, risks and multi-disciplinary teams across more than one sector.\nExcellent written and spoken English, with strong report-writing and presentation skills.\nAdvanced skills in MS Office and project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Trello or similar).
