as performing inspections, services, repairs and overhauls on equipment of the hospital as directed.\nInstalling all new equipment and systems as assigned and ensuring that installations and operations comply with all manufacturer’s specifications with all applicable codes, regulations and the hospital’s safety policies.\nCoordinating and inspecting projects, ensuring that they are meeting quality standards in an approved time frame and that they comply with city/state codes as well as JACHO.\nCarrying out routine and specific assignments to ensure that the physical plant and assigned equipment are in safe operating condition and in compliance with applicable Hospital policies and with regulatory and/or accrediting codes and specifications.System Repairs: Fix plumbing leaks, electrical outlets, lighting, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) controls.\nPreventive Maintenance: Inspect and service mechanical equipment, backup generators, and ventilation filters on a regular schedule.\nFacility Upkeep: Perform minor drywall, painting, carpentry, and flooring repairs.\nCompliance and Logging: Document all completed work orders, inspections, and safety checks to meet state and federal healthcare regulations.\nEmergency Response: Answer urgent repair calls promptly to prevent disruptions in patient care areas.\nTechnical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting.\n Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, or on-call hours since hospitals operate
