This equipment is loaded and unloaded onto the truck or float with the use of the truck’s mechanical winch or other loading equipment. All duties of the Winch Truck Driver are to be performed according to the Company operating procedures in order to maximize the safety of all personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task.\n\nThe essential job functions include, but are not limited to\nResponsible for making sure truck is loaded and secured properly.\nResponsible for weight of shipment.\nResponsible for vehicle maintenance, security and keeping vehicle clean.\nEnsure that truck has proper and current inspections.\nCompliance with all D.O.T. requirements.\nMaintain driver qualification records and driving records.\nKeep all paperwork in correct order and ensure that all transactions are documented.\nDrive courteously when in company truck.\nMake all deliveries on time while maintaining safe driving.\nWork with Procurement in all deliveries and pick-ups.\nRepresent the company in a respectable manner whenever in a Select uniform.\nLoad and unload truck as required.\nWork in yard and field as needed by supervisor.\nMust understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.\nPerform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.\nCompetent with tractor trailer and all equipment.\nEnsure work being carried out is performed in a manner that is compliant with company safety standards.\nPerform assignments in an effective and efficient manner to ensure deliveries are accurate and secure.\n\nOther duties\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:\n1 year of experience as CDL A driver.\nCDL A license.\nHigh School diploma/GED.\nTanker and HazMat endorsement preferred.\nMeet all Federal Motor Carrier D.O.T. requirements and safety qualifications.\nCurrent D.O.T. medical card.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nAbility to read and interpret information such driving routes, safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.\nPossess outstanding organizational and time management skills.\nMust be able to pass D.O.T. pre-employment physical.\nAbility to work night or weekend shifts as necessary.\nMust be detail oriented due to the necessity of safety.\nMust possess excellent oral and written communications skills.\nAble to thrive in a team environment.\nCDL certification from accredited driving school and one year of similar driving experience;
