This position requires strong field awareness, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in high-risk environments with long hours, changing conditions, and physically demanding tasks.\n\nThe essential job functions include, but are not limited to\nLay out, drag, and position poly line across well pads, lease roads, ROWs, and rugged terrain for poly water transfer operations.\nLoads and unloads poly pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport.\nFuses various sizes of poly pipe together.\nInstall check valves, elbows, T-fittings, and manifolds as per engineered water transfer plans.\nOperates poly pipe spool trailer in a safe manner.\nRemove, drain, and recover pipe safely after job completion.\nAssist in the setup of diesel pumps, electric pumps, transfer manifolds, filtration units, and frac tanks.\nPrime pumps, monitor suction/discharge pressures, and maintain stable operational flow for frac or drilling operations.\nConduct routine pump checks (fuel, oil, filters, vibration, noise, pressure).\nTroubleshoot leaks, pressure drops, airlocks, or pump malfunctions.\nPerform continuous or scheduled patrols of poly lines during pumping operations.\nIdentify leaks, ruptures, environmental hazards, wildlife interference, or potential line failures.\nDocument pressure trends, pump hours, volume data, and environmental observations.\nCommunicate issues immediately to the water transfer supervisor or company man.\nLoad, unload, and transport pipe, pumps, fittings, generators, and tools using trucks, ATVs, or trailers.\nConduct basic mechanical maintenance and onsite repairs.\nMaintain a clean and orderly staging area and pump trailer.\nAssists in containment and spill clean ups.\nCommunicates with other workers, using signals, radios, and telephones.\nUses common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.\nDrives trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel and perform job task.\nAttends and successfully completes training as directed for DOT, OSHA and safety.\n\nOther duties\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
