Researches the law and consults experts when necessary.\n⦁Provides naturalization services such as direct representation, completing applications, assisting in securing waivers, and providing information and referrals.\n⦁Handles client information and files in accordance with the agency’s policies.\n⦁Attends trainings required to maintain up-to-date legal knowledge as needed.\n⦁Performs other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n⦁Bachelor’s Degree with two years of legal experience or associate degree with three years of legal experience.\n⦁Law degree with 5 years’ experience practicing immigration law.\n⦁Sensitive to the needs of the elderly and to diverse ethnic and minority cultures.\n⦁Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and presentation skills.\n⦁Bilingual in English and Cantonese, Mandarin or other languages a plus.\n⦁Must be organized and able to work independently and in a team setting.\n⦁Proficient in MS Office and the internet.\nSelf-Help for the Elderly is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmation Action Employer and we welcome diversity in the workplace.
