This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution - you'll shape how we attract, evaluate, and welcome talent, while also rolling up your sleeves to manage day-to-day recruiting operations. You'll be a core member of our People & Culture team, partnering closely with hiring managers across the business and building the foundation for our future hiring needs. If you love the idea of joining a small, close-knit team where your work has visible, immediate impact, and you're excited to grow into new responsibilities as we scale - this role is for you.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end from intake and sourcing through offer and handoff to onboarding - ensuring a smooth, exciting experience for every candidate\nDevelop and execute proactive, strategic sourcing plans to build strong talent pipelines, including for technical and specialized roles\nPartner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, define role requirements, and align on hiring strategy\nManage and optimize our recruiting tech stack (Greenhouse, LinkedIn, Built In, Glassdoor, HackerRank, Checkr), and evaluate additional tools to improve the recruiter and new hire experience\nShape and strengthen our employer branding to attract top talent in a competitive market\nDesign and continuously improve our hiring processes, interview frameworks, and candidate experience\nEnsure a seamless, well-coordinated handoff from recruiting to onboarding for new hires\nTake on People & Culture projects beyond recruiting as needed, contributing to broader team initiatives\nBuild scalable hiring processes and plans in anticipation of future roles and growth\nWhat you’ll bring\n5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of managing full-cycle recruiting\nTechnical recruiting experience - comfort sourcing and evaluating candidates for engineering or other technical roles\nStrong knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and interviewing methods\nExperience with vendor management and optimizing recruiting tools and processes\nStrong relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers across departments\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills\nStrong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to provide insights and data-driven recommendations\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously\nComfort and curiosity with AI tools - we're an AI-forward company and encourage using AI to work smarter across recruiting and day-to-day tasks\nOpenness and enthusiasm for taking on additional People & Culture projects and evolving responsibilities\nExcitement about working within a small, close-knit team where collaboration and adaptability matter\nBased in Austin, TX or willing to relocate and work in-office Tuesday through Thursday\nBase salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually.
