Model SEL Values and Leadership characteristics to employees.\n2. Provide clear direction to work group in order to help meet department production objectives.\n3. Understand upstream and downstream work areas in order to ensure accurate communication and appropriate product flow.\n4. Monitor employee performance, regularly provide employee feedback; empower, mentor and coach employees, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals.\n5. Responsible for assessing employee training needs, and providing/overseeing training.\n6. Under guidance, actively and effectively address personnel issues and settle differences equitably and productively.\n7. Create, update and ensure control of area work instructions and reports.\n8. Utilize basic root cause and continuous improvement tools to investigate and address area quality issues.\n9. Promote safety standards to others and assist in implementing safety initiatives.\n10. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.\n11. Understand. Create. Simplify.\n12. Other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\n2+ years of leadership experience\nDemonstrated ability to model SEL Values to others\nAbility to communicate professionally, respectfully and openly to a diverse audience.\nAbility to prioritize, organize and delegate work; intervene to remove obstacles as needed.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow for up and downstream areas.\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.)\nStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skills\nAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities\nAbility to work cooperatively in a team environment\nBackground check results satisfactory to SEL\nNegative drug test result(s)\nPreferred Qualifications\nCollege degree (BS or BA)\nSupervisory experience or training\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.)\nPhysical Requirements\nNone\nPay Range Data -$31.00/hour - $46.00/hour\nWe set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
